Buttered Crab with Corn is a decadent seafood dish featuring succulent crab, sweet corn and rich buttery flavors. Garlic, ginger and paprika add depth to this indulgent recipe. Perfect for special occasions or coastal-inspired meals.
Ingredients:
*Crabs (1 kg) or other crab varieties
*Tablespoons unsalted butter
*Cloves garlic
*Minced
*Corn kernels
*Grated ginger
*Paprika
*Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the crab: Rinse, clean and cut the crab into quarters or smaller pieces. Remove the gills, eyes and internal organs.
Step 2: Melt butter: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Step 3: Sauté aromatics: Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4: Add corn: Stir in corn kernels; cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly tender.
Step 5: Add crab: Place the crab pieces in the skillet; cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until they turn bright red.
6. Butter and spice: Add the remaining butter, paprika, salt, pepper. Stir until the butter melts.
7. Simmer: Reduce heat to low; simmer for 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
